At least 22 tornadoes and severe thunderstorms wreaked havoc in the Midwest on Tuesday night from Illinois and Missouri through Tennessee, Indiana, and Iowa. At least three people were reported killed in the aftermath, with dozens more injured. A man in Perryville, Missouri, was killed while driving down a highway when a tornado blew 20 vehicles up from a junkyard and onto the road. A man in Ottawa, Illinois, was struck and killed by a falling tree. A third was found dead behind his heavily damaged home in Crossville, Illinois.
