At least 26 Syrian civilians were killed during a U.S.-led airstrike against the Islamic State in the country this week. According to a human rights monitoring organization, the strikes against the village of Al-Khan resulted in many civilian casualties because ISIS militants only remain on the northeast Syrian town's outskirts.
