Two days after female suicide bombers killed 39 people on Moscow’s subways, another pair of suicide attacks has killed at least 12 people in the southern Russian province of Dagestan. One of the bombers was dressed as a police officer, and nine of the victims were police officers. Dagestan borders Chechnya, the Islamic area from which the bombers are believed to have originated.
