Three men have been arrested in California’s Sonoma County for allegedly kidnapping a woman and holding her captive as a sex slave for weeks. Jose Angel Barajas-Mireles, 34, Guillermo Crestino Avina, 34, and Jaime Gomez Cisneros, 52, are being held in police custody after “brutally sexually and physically” assaulting the woman, officials say. The 22-year-old victim was abducted “sometime during the holidays” and was beaten and raped while being held against her will at a home in Santa Rosa, Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office officials said. She managed to escape last week.
