Three people are confirmed dead following a shooting at a UPS Center in Birmingham, Alabama, on Tuesday morning. At 9:21 a.m., police received calls about an active shooter. At the scene, police “identified and located the three bodies, one of those is obviously the shooter, and it appeared he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound,” said Birmingham Police Chief A.C. Roper. The shooter was found wearing a UPS uniform and is believed to have been an employee. The two victims also appear to have been UPS employees. No one else was injured. “They were just people working at their job, for them to lose their lives is very sad,” said Roper.
