At least 35 Egyptians were kidnapped in Libya on Monday morning, according to the Libya Herald. Shortly after the attack from Egyptian warplanes in retaliation for a beheading of 21 Coptic Christians, more Egyptian workers in areas controlled by ISIS were abducted by gunmen. Egypt bombed ISIS positions including training sites and weapons depots "to avenge the bloodshed and to seek retribution from the killers," according to the military. Libyan military also carried out strikes on Monday.
