In a new tally published by the UN on Wednesday, the death toll in Eastern Ukraine between mid-April and October 6 stands at 3,660 killed and 8,756 wounded. At least 331 of those fatalities were recorded after the ceasefire agreed to on September 5. The high casualty toll has even led to protests on the Russian as many begin to question the country's role in the conflict. On the Ukainian side, some are skeptical that a ceasefire can hold, even with the concession made to the eastern regions.
