A Delta jet caught on fire during a landing at Atlanta’s main airport Saturday, injuring four but most of the plane’s 50 passengers and crew evacuated safely, authorities said. Atlanta city fire officials said the four people who were injured did not require hospitalization, and firefighters quickly extinguished the fire with foam spray. The Federal Aviation Administration said the fire could have been caused by a blown tire, a locked-up brake or both. A FAA spokesman said the plane had been taken out of commission and would be evaluated by maintenance.
