50 Cent Forced to Continue Sex Tape Case

Despite filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Monday in order to “stop things moving forward that you don’t want moving forward,” as he put it to E! News, a Connecticut judge has ruled that rapper 50 Cent will still have to appear in court over a sex tape he posted online. Lastonia Leviston, who appears in the film, won a $5 million compensatory damages verdict on July 10 and was expected to hear a ruling on punitive damages on Monday, but the case was halted due to the rapper’s bankruptcy filing.
