Dan Nainan, the “millennial” comedian who The Daily Beast revealed earlier this month as being 55 years old, will play the All-American Inaugural Ball on January 19th. Nainan perform for guests like Buzz Aldrin and Congressmen Tom Garrett and Scott Taylor at the D.C. event. The event isn’t affiliated with the official inauguration festivities, and organizers “do not yet know” if President-elect Donald Trump will attend. Nainan repeatedly claimed to news outlets like The New York Times, the Associated Press, and Cosmopolitan that he was 35 years old, duping dozens of news agencies. He was featured as a “Millennial Comedian” in a Forbes profile late in December. BuzzFeed was the first to report Nainan’s invitation to the ball.
