A Southern California oil pipeline has leaked up to 5,000 barrels of crude. Ventura Country firefighters discovered the leak early Thursday and are scrambling to prevent the estimated 210,000 gallons from reaching the Pacific Ocean—building barriers with bulldozers and construction crews. The oil belongs to Aera Energy, which owns 1,000 miles of pipeline in various California counties.
