A tragedy was narrowly averted in Houston Tuesday when a 6-year-old brought a gun to school. The boy apparently brought the pistol to school, and then accidentally dropped it from his pocket. The gun went off, slightly injuring the boy and two other students, ages 5 and 6. Police are trying to figure out how he acquired the gun and why he had it at school. "I knew it was a gun because a gun goes 'pow,' " said Jarneshia Broussard, 5, a student who was on the scene. "I got really scared."
