Jacob Hall, a 6-year-old boy who was shot last week at his elementary school in South Carolina, died Saturday from his injuries, his family said. Three people were shot at Townville Elementary School by a 14-year-old boy who fatally shot his father beforehand. “God gave him to us and he was taken away from us by a senseless act,” Renae and Rodger Hall, Jacob’s parents, said in a statement. “We know that Jacob has already forgiven this child for what he did to him and his family because that’s the kind of child he was.” The other two people who were shot, a student and a teacher, were released from the hospital the day of the shooting. The 14-year-old was charged with one count of murder and three counts of attempted murder. A since-closed GoFundMe page was set up by a family friend to support the Halls with medical costs.
