Seven candidates have filed applications to succeed Sepp Blatter as president of FIFA. Michel Platini, Prince Ali bin al-Hussein, Gianni Infantino, Tokyo Sexwale, Musa Bility, Jerome Champagne, and Sheikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalif have submitted candidacies for the top job at soccer’s world governing body, with Platini’s subject to the outcome of an ethics investigation. Trinidadian soccer player David Nakhid is not on the list, despite his statements that he submitted an application.
