Two members of the Illinois State athletic department and five others were killed in a plane crash Tuesday morning just hours after leaving the NCAA basketball championship game in Indiana. A twin-engine Cessna inexplicably crashed near its intended destination, Bloomington's airport, around 12:15 a.m. The pilot did not cancel the flight plan or make any alterations in flight," the Chicago Tribune reports. The crash is under investigation by the FAA and NTSB.
