Latino voters are super-excited about Election Day. Forty-five percent of those polled by Latino Decisions said they’re more enthusiastic this year than in 2008—and 84 percent of registered Latino voters participated in 2008. Eighty-seven percent of Hispanic voters said they will almost certainly vote Nov. 6, including the 8 percent who have already hit the polls. According to the recent survey, many Latino voters think the president has little influence over most of the major issues. Still, 73 percent of those registered are in support of President Obama. Twenty-one percent favor Romney.
