7,500 Troops to Battle Boko Haram

Africa’s leaders have agreed to send 7,500 troops to fight Boko Haram in northeast Nigeria, according to an African Union official who spoke to the Associated Press. Iran also said on Saturday that it has begun consultations with the countries affected by Boko Haram to send help. “We will share our experiences in combating terrorism to defeat Boko Haram. We will achieve that without a doubt,” Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said.
