The Philadelphia 76ers is officially the first team among the four major professional sports leagues to sell sponsorship on their official uniforms. The NBA franchise announced Monday morning that ticket resale company StubHub will place its logo on the upper-right corner of the last-place team's jersey, starting in the 2017-18 season. According to ESPN sources, the 76ers sold all three seasons of the NBA's ad-sales pilot program for $5 million per year, with the option to extend if the league allows the program to continue. The league approved the advertising program last month.
