A second day of shootouts in northern Macedonia has left at least eight police officers and 14 gunmen from an alleged “terrorist group” dead. An additional 37 have been injured. Media reports have indicated that the group is made up of ethnic Albanians from Kosovo. The shooting started when police went in to break up what they called a “terrorist group” that they believed entered the country illegally.
