8K Flights Canceled Due to Snow

Airlines have canceled 8,323 flights for this weekend, NBC News reports. Airports in Washington, D.C. and New York City—both of which Storm Jonas is expected to hit especially hard—are seeing many cancellations, with between 70 and 100 percent of flights called off. The storm is expected to affect more than 85 million people in at least 20 states. Meteorologists forecast that New York City will get 18 to 24 inches of snow and D.C. will see more than 2 feet.
