Shots fired at a family party Saturday night killed a 9-year-old boy in Charlotte, North Carolina and injured two adults and another child. Family members approached officers who arrived at the scene, bringing them the victim of a gunshot wound. The boy died after being transported to a local hospital. The motive for the shooting is still unknown.
