A nine-year-old female member of the Christian minority group the Yazidi was reportedly raped by 10 ISIS militants when she was made a sex slave, and is now pregnant. The young girl is being treated by a medical charity in Germany after being flown out of Iraq by a Kurdish aid agency. “This girl is so young she could die if she delivers a baby,” a Canada-based aid worker who worked with the girl. “Even a caesarian section is dangerous.” She was one of 216 Yazidis released this past week by the militants. According to the aid work, she was given over to fighters and suicide bombers “as a reward.”
