The blogosphere has been buzzing this week about a book expert by Jo Piazza that offers some disconcerting career advice for Lindsay Lohan: die. “The only thing that will save brand Lohan from total Kristy McNichol–dom is if she truly channels [Marilyn] Monroe and actually leaves us for good,” Piazza writes. Over at XX Factor, Libby Copeland is startled by the crassness of the suggestion—and points out the sexism at work. “Hollywood is built on the disposability of starlets who disappear when they age out of the system … but Lohan is not disposable as a human being.”
