Bill Bryson may be an American, but he's now the master of British English. In a new book, Dictionary for Writers and Editors, Bryson delivers a "devilishly detailed dictionary" for spelling and usage across the pond. But, from an author who could, in the words of The Daily Mail, sell four million copies of anything from a "history of Alaskan gas taps or a treatise on Peruvian acne," this new work is simply "brilliant."
