Classic series gets an update for Masterpiece Theatre.
TV geeks, rejoice: PBS and the BBC are teaming up to remake the classic series, Upstairs Downstairs. The update, set to debut in 2011, is part of Masterpiece Theatre's 40th anniversary season, and will star Eileen Atkins, who helped create the original. Jean Marsh will return to her Emmy-winning role as the parlor maid and the setting will also remain the same, placing the characters in 1936 London.
