Police say that Victoria Goodwin, the wife of Ghost Adventure host Aaron Goodwin, told a prisoner who allegedly helped to plot the reality star’s murder that she was in love with him. Officials say Victoria Goodwin enlisted the expertise of inmate Grant Amato to find a hitman who would kill her husband, People reported. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department arrest report, Goodwin allegedly began texting Amato exactly a year ago after she saw him on the docuseries Ctrl + Alt + Desire. The docuseries detailed how Amato stole $200,000 from his family in addition to killing his mother, father, and brother. Apparently, the pair also exchanged messages about “how much they are in love,” with Goodwin writing in the texts that “her husband ‘FH’ would not accept divorce.” It would seem like she still had remorse, as she questioned if she was a “bad person” in her messages with Amato. When asked why she felt that way, she wrote: “Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce.” The kill plot was foiled after a corrections officer confiscated Amato’s phone and sent it to the Florida Department of Corrections where the texts were discovered.
