Kanye West took the stage in Givenchy, Madonna armored up, Frank Ocean and Sky Ferreira donned ski masks, and more of the best snaps of the week, Met Gala Edition.

Abbey Lee Kerkshaw caused quite a stir when she staged a brief but revealing guerrilla political campaign at a Met Gala afterparty, and, lucky for us, beauty blog Into The Gloss was on hand to snap a quick pic of the big reveal. In the photo, the Australian model lifts up her custom Rag & Bone silver slip dress to showcase a pair of tiny black underwear and the message “GUN CONTROL” scrawled in black ink across her torso.

No stranger to high fashion, Kanye West took the stage—er, sanctuary—in the MET’s Temple of Dendur to perform at the gala wearing a sparkly Givenchy top. Model Coco Rocha posted a photo of the artist performing, noting West said he’s “only singing new stuff.”

In what is arguably the best photo of the evening (so good, in fact, that it’s captionless), musicians Frank Ocean and Sky Ferreira don ski masks à la Spring Breakers mid-Met Gala. Ocean opted for a pink unicorn ski mask from the Opening Ceremony x Spring Breakers collection.
