The National Hurricane Center announced Monday that Tropical Storm Bret has formed in the Atlantic and is expected to become a rare June hurricane. Record warm sea temperatures are fueling the unusual weather pattern, experts said, and could be a sign of a very busy hurricane season to come. Weather authorities have warned that the hurricane could affect the Lesser Antilles, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands later in the week.
