Known for his dashing smile and role as a thoughtful surgeon on the long-running ‘70s medical drama Medical Center, actor Chad Everett died Wednesday. He was 75. Everett won two Golden Globe nominations for Medical Center, which at the time was one of the longest-running medical series in TV history. His four-decade career launched with the 1963 TV western The Dakotas, and included memorable roles in the 1980 series Hagen and the 2001 film Mulholland Drive. Everett last appeared on an episode of Castle, which aired last February.
