Actor Chevy Chase Checks Into Rehab

Actor Chevy Chase has checked into a rehab facility in Minnesota for what his publicist described as an alcohol-related “tune-up.” The 72-year-old former SNL star entered the Hazelden Addiction Treatment Center, his publicist said Monday, noting that Chase “wants to be the best that he can be.” Chase has struggled with addiction throughout his career, having done a stint at the Betty Ford drug-rehabilitation center in California for painkiller addiction in 1986. The Community actor has two movies due out soon: Dog Years with Burt Reynolds and The Christmas Apprentice.
