Twentieth Century Fox has cut a scene from its new movie The Predator after executives discovered the action classic’s reboot featured a registered sex offender, the Los Angeles Times reports. Steven Wilder Striegel, a friend of director Shane Black who has had bit parts in several of his other movies, served six months in prison after pleading guilty in 2010 to charges that he attempted to lure a 14-year-old female into a sexual relationship via the internet. The studio was reportedly unaware of Striegel’s conviction at executive level until alerted by actress Olivia Munn, who shared the scene with Striegel, in which he played a jogger who “repeatedly hits on” Munn.
