Actress Misty Upham Goes Missing

Misty Upham, a Blackfeet actress best known for her roles in August: Osage County and Frozen River, has been reported missing by her father, Charles Upham. Misty, 32, was last seen leaving her sister’s apartment in Muckleshoot, Washington, on October 5. Her father’s note to the media reads, in part, “Misty is considered an endangered missing person due to a medical condition. She has not been in contact with her family or friends since her disappearance. If anybody has any information or has been in contact with Misty since October 5, 2014. You are asked to contact the Auburn police department (253) 288-2121, case no. 14-13189.” Upham's father also spoke to the Hollywood Reporter, saying, "She had recently changed her medication, so she was sort of having erratic behavior. She told me and her mom that we didn't have to worry about her any more...I thought it sounded suicidal myself, so I called the police. She's always been a suicidal person."
