Afghan Taliban Condemns Pakistan Attack

Rare dispute between Taliban groups over school killings.

Tuesday’s attack on a Pakistan school that resulted in the death of 142 people, most of whom were children, has even earned the outrage of the Afghan Taliban. While their Pakistani counterparts led the utterly brutal attack on children, teens, and schoolteachers, the Afghan Taliban condemned the Peshawar massacre, saying it was “shocked at the incident and shares the pain of the families of children killed in the attack,” according to a spokesman. “The intentional killing of innocent people, women, and children goes against the principles of Islam and every Islamic government and movement must adhere to this fundamental essence.”
