Iranian media are reporting that President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was unharmed on Wednesday after a handmade grenade exploded near his car. One person has been arrested for the attack, which took place as Ahmadinejad was on his way to address a crowd. It’s unclear if anyone else was hurt in the attack; the grenade apparently hit a press van that was accompanying the president. Ahmadinejad went on to give his speech.
