Air Force One, with President Obama on board, had a missed approach on its first attempt to land Wednesday morning at Bradley Field in Connecticut. The plane circled the airport and successfully landed on its second try. Weather at the time was overcast, with visibility of 1.5 miles. Sources say the missed approach was not dramatic and would not have caught the attention of those on the ground. In fact, members of the press on the plane said they did not even notice anything out of the ordinary. A White House spokesman called it “a standard and safe procedure.”
