Members of the U.S. Air Force have been warned to watch what they post on social media and to be cautious about displaying things identifying them as part of the military after two Canadian soldiers were killed last week. The threat level, however, has not increased. “Out of a concern for our personnel, we want to equip them with the knowledge and awareness to make good choices and protect themselves,” a spokesman for the U.S. Northern Command said. Meanwhile, U.S. troops in Canada have been instructed to follow the same security measures imposed on Canadian military members, including a suspension of wearing of uniforms outside of garrisons.
