Al Pacino is hardly recognizable behind a Midwestern accent and big glasses in HBO's You Don't Know Jack, a biopic about Jack Kevorkian, The New York Times reports. The film isn't meant to weigh in on the moral and legal issues surrounding Kevorkian, who rose to prominence in the 1980s and 1990s for his work promoting euthanasia. Instead, Pacino and director Barry Levinson focued on bringing nuance to Kevorkian's story. As Pacino put it, "He turned away the vast majority of people who came to him, he didn't take money for what he did, and he did not see these patients as people he was killing. He saw them as people whose pain he could relieve."
