A dozen top terror suspects with links to al Qaeda escaped from jail in Iraq on Friday. The men, who were awaiting trial, somehow got their hands on police uniforms, which they put on before walking out of the detention center. A manhunt is now on for them in Basra, Iraq’s second-largest city. The suspects are believed to be heading to Baghdad, where they’ll try to obtain fake IDs so they can leave Iraq. They were arrested for involvement with multiple car bombings in Basra since 2004.
