Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley denied that he had an extramarital sexual relationship with a member of his staff, after being accused of doing so by a recently fired state police official. In a press conference Wednesday, Bentley admitted that the alleged recordings of his conversations with the woman, aide Rebekah Mason, happened two years ago. “I have never had a physical affair with Mrs. Mason,” he added. When asked if he was in love with Mason, Bentley said, “I love many members of my staff.”
