A Birmingham, Alabama, city council member reportedly attacked the mayor a little before 11 a.m. Tuesday, outside the city's council meeting. Witnesses say council member Marcus Lundy attacked Mayor William Bell “from behind.” A reporter on the scene says the mayor’s neck is swollen, and that a warrant will be issued for the council member’s arrest.
