When flight attendants warn passengers to turn off their electronic devices, they mean business. Alec Baldwin was removed from an American Airlines flight Tuesday afternoon when he declined to turn off his cellphone. Baldwin tweeted that he was "reamed out" for playing the popular smartphone game Words With Friends "while we sat at the gate, not moving." His rep cheekily explained the situation in an email to CNN: "He loves WWF so much that he was willing to leave a plane for it." American Airlines issued a statement on Facebook that Baldwin stood up while the seatbelt light was lit and then slammed the lavatory door so hard that the cockpit crew heard it and "became alarmed." Since the incident and Baldwin's subsequent Twitter rant about it, the actor shut down his Twitter account after tweeting Tuesday night that he wanted to "crash this acc and start again."
