Missouri officials said Tuesday they tracked down the last 270 people who were missing after last week’s devastating tornado. The confirmed death toll is currently 134. Missouri State Highway Patrol said this number includes 124 people who had been on the missing list, seven people who were taken immediately to funeral homes, and three people who died in the hospital after the storm. More than 8,000 homes and apartments and more than 500 commercial properties were destroyed in the twister, the single deadliest tornado since records started being kept in 1960.
