Ally of Ukrainian Ex-President Murdered

Allies of ousted pro-Moscow Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych are dropping like flies: Another one, former parliament deputy Oleh Kalashnikov, was found dead Wednesday with gunshot wounds. He is at least the sixth member of the former government to die mysteriously this year. Police say they are investigating, but the current government in Kiev was quick to cast suspicion on the old guard. “Without doubt, the deceased knew a lot about who financed Anti-Maidan and in what way,” said the Interior Ministry's Anton Herashchenko, referencing the anti-Westernization protests. “He takes these secrets with him to the grave.”
