First the debacle over a Lifetime movie documenting Amanda Knox's trial, now this? Amanda's parents Curt Knox and Edda Mellas were indicted on Tuesday in Perugia, Italy for libelous allegations that Italian police abused their daughter, according to the Associated Press. Charges reportedly stem from an interview in Britain's Sunday Times in which Knox's father claimed that police had physically and verbally abused his daughter while questioning her after Meredith Kercher's murder in 2007, but before Knox was arrested. Police deny allegations, and a Knox representative said the family has no comment right now.
