Can Amazon.com bust into Hollywood? The online retailer has launched a new website called Amazon Studios, where users can upload and collaborate on scripts. Experts will then judge the scripts and Amazon will have 18 months to sell the scripts to Warner Brothers and other studios. If the script is turned into a film, the writer will get $200,000. The hope is that eventually films will feature the “Amazon Studios” production label.
