Multiple passengers aboard two international flights reported flu-like symptoms upon landing at Philadelphia International Airport Thursday. Twelve passengers on American Airlines flights from Paris and Munich were experiencing symptoms, an airport spokesperson reported to Newsweek. As a precaution, all 250 passengers and crew members were held for medical review and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention was notified. This comes after an Emirates flight from Dubai was quarantined at JFK airport and 10 passengers were hospitalized on Wednesday. The NYC Health Department issued a statement Thursday, confirming that the 10 passengers were tested and showed “no illness beyond influenza or common cold viruses.”
