Tiny Treasures

American Apparel's Final Frontier

It has come to this: American Apparel has for a long time run a children’s clothing line—mostly consisting of monochrome tees and the occasional ironic coke-bottle glasses—but recently went all the way and started manufacturing shiny, teeny tiny leggings. The consensus? It’s a little scary to see a 4-year-old channeling Santigold and who knows who else, but at least they can all pull it off! Puberty and Lycra typically don’t mix, so it’s good to get in on the ground floor of a look like this.
