The daughter of an American woman visiting Bali has been arrested for killing her mother, after the 62-year-old’s badly beaten body was found in a suitcase at the luxury St. Regis at the Indonesian holiday spot. Police said Sheila von Wiese Mack had multiple wounds to the head, was half-naked, and appeared to have put up a struggle. She was staying at the hotel with her daughter Heather, 19, and Heather’s boyfriend, Tommy Schaefer, 21, who was also arrested in connection with the death. Mack was recorded arguing with Schaefer in the lobby that night on CCTV. The body was discovered when the young couple failed to show up for their bags. They were found sleeping in a hotel in the area of Legian on Wednesday.
