A guesthouse in Kabul, Afghanistan came under attack on Wednesday while a party for foreigners was hosted inside. The U.S. Embassy has said that an American was killed. Around 20 people trapped inside the guesthouse were freed by police earlier in the day, but several dozen others are believed to be held hostage inside. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
