An unidentified American man is reported to be among the nearly 50 people wounded during the attack in London on Saturday night. An employee at a Borough Market pub said he witnessed the man get hit in the head by a stray bullet when police opened fire, killing three of the attackers. The U.S. Embassy has yet to comment on the injured American, but British authorities said he is expected to survive. The man was with two friends who told the pub employee that they were doctors from either New York or New Jersey living in London. Metro police have several people in custody and are still investigating the van and knife attack that killed seven people.
